Boston Tutoring Center
Bio/Description:
We Have Some of the Best Tutors in the Area!
Latin tutors with degrees in the Classics from Boston College.
Our math tutors attended MIT, Boston University, Bowdoin and Northeastern University, and many have advanced degrees (Master and Doctorates, or are Doctoral candidates) in addition to the many years of tutoring experiences they bring to us from teaching math at the elementary through college level.
Our screening process is rigorous, we accept about 2 out of every 10 candidates we interview. We check references, and run Criminal Background checks to make sure your children are safe while at our Center. We start tutors off slowly and train them in our policies, procedures and techniques. We constantly monitor, supervise and provide feedback to our tutors. We pay our tutors the highest salaries in the industry because we want professionals, not just people looking for easy, part time work. We do not send tutors to people's homes, as we cannot insure our standards are met if our tutors are not working under our supervision.
Rest assured that your child is in good hands with our tutors, and they will be exposed to some of the brightest minds in the area!
We hope you are as impressed as we are with the caliber of tutors we have employed to work with your children!

Ways to monitor and measure success:
Tutoring is a partnership between parents, students and the tutor. To that end, we ask all parents to fill out a questionnaire at the start of the program to specify what they want for their children from the tutoring experience (homework help, reach back instruction, go ahead work, enrichment, test prep, etc.).
We are accountable to you by making sure that you are informed about what happens at each tutoring session, what was assigned for homework (yes, we do give homework) and what is expected of your child.
We invite you to join us for the last 10 minutes of each tutoring session to discuss progress, assignments, and any concerns about the tutoring with your child and the tutor.
