-Mentor to beginning educators throughout Cambridge School District, committee member of Math Task Force Team, and Cambridge Representative for Green Energy Champions (global initiative/energy conservation committee).

-Executive Board Committee Representative of the Cambridge School District, delegate of the MTA, and Union Representative for Cambridge Public Schools.

-Undergraduate Degree in Education and Masters Degree in Special Needs from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

-Certification pending in Sheltered Immersion Instruction for English Language Learners.

-Degree/Certification from the Orton-Gillingham Academy of Practitioners and Educators based out of Amenia, NY.

-Certified in the Wilson Reading Language Program through the Wilson Academy and trained extensively in multiple reading and writing programs.

-Associate Ambassador to the Cambridge/Somerville Guidance Center, member of the Council of Exceptional Children, Committee Member of Steering Committee for the University of Massachusetts Association, and Web Manager for the UMass Steering Committee of Greater Boston website.

-Published articles on instructional methods for students who have learning difficulties and conducted several presentations on specially designed reading and writing programs. These programs include Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading Program, Visualizing/Verbalizing, Project Read, Lexia, LINKS, and Lindamood-Bell Phoneme Sequencing Program.
